 With Virtus Combi Steam Microwave Oven, the steam is produced directly in the cavity via a dedicated heating element, without a boiler. The tank, with a capacity of 1 liter, can be refilled several times via the practical door on the front, if it is necessary to prolong cooking. Steam cooking is particularly appropriate to delicately cook the food internally preserving nutrients, structure, and taste. Also, low temperature cooking is possible with 1°C precision.
 • A special glass tray is provided to have the EM waves on the entire surface of the food, not just the top, for even cooking.
 • The microwave mode can be used to speed up the cooking process or to defrost but also can be very useful combined with other functions:
 • Combi-Grill and Microwave is the most suitable method for cooking quantities in a short time for gratins (e.g., potatoes and cheese), baked pasta, large vegetables.
